RAINE & HORNE CITY TO CASINO FUN RUN & WALK

TASMANIA’S ICONIC RUNNING EVENT. 

ESTABLISHED IN 1973 IT IS THE OLDEST FUN RUN IN TASMANIA.

Held in May each year the event attracts over 3,000 participants of all ages and abilities. It offers four events across three courses, providing plenty of choice and opportunity for participants of all ages and abilities.

12km Run

**The 12km Run start is at MyState Bank Arena.**

Parking is available within the Arena. 

Walkers are not permitted in the 12km Run. This is a RUNNING event.

Short walk breaks are permitted. It is recommended that entrants in the 12km Run be at least 12 years of age on race day.

7km Run & Walk

This year, the 7km Run & Walk  will start together at Cornelian Bay, adjacent to the playground.  Parking is available at Cornelian Bay, however, please arrive early to avoid road closures.

Please note, if you enter the 7km Run, walking is allowed! but if you choose to enter the 7km Walk, please walk in fairness to fellow participants.

And when lining up to start, we ask that runners line up at the front and walkers at the back.

2.7km Run

The 2.7km Run starts opposite the Supreme Court steps in Salamanca Place. 

This event is for children aged 12 or under.

Adults are permitted in this event only for the purposes of accompanying their children.

A bus entry fee of $10 per person is applicable for anyone wishing to ride on a bus. This fee is necessary to help us cover some of the expense of bus hire on the day. Bus entry can be purchased online when you register. A 'Bus' sticker will be attached to your bib to confirm payment.
