FAQ

Start time

All events start at 9am. All events will have a gun start.

Timing

Electronic timing will be used. Start times will be gun times, the finish times will be recorded as you cross the finish line. Results will be published in The Mercury. All participants finishing under 2 hours will receive a finisher’s medallion and certificate.

Race Bibs

Your race bib can be picked up from The Running Edge at 73 Murray Street, Hobart between these hours:

If you are unable to pick up your bib from The Running Edge during these scheduled times, you can collect it on race day prior to the start of each event.

Toilets

Toilets will be available at the 11km start, Cornelian Bay, St David’s Park and the finish.

Drink Stations

Drink stations will be at Cornelian Bay and St David’s Park. Fruit and drinks will be available at the finish.

Checked Baggage

There will be a checked baggage facility at each start line. Checked baggage closes at 8:45am. Checked baggage will be available for collection at the finish area at Wrest Point after the event.

First Aid

First Aid will be provided by St Johns Ambulance.

Police

Participants must obey Police, SES and Traffic Warden instructions at all times. Participants may be asked to move off the course for safety reasons or if they are obstructing the clear passage of official vehicles.

Presentations

Presentations commence at 10:00am.

Buses

Buses to Cornelian Bay and Elwick Rd will leave Wrest Point carpark at 8am sharp. Parking is available on the top level of the Wrest Point carpark. Buses will leave Nelson Rd from 10:15am to return to the 7km and 11km starts.  There is a fee per person required to board the buses, this is to help cover the cost of this service.  The fee can be paid during the registration process and is for anyone travelling on any bus to or from the event.

Transfers/Changes

Transfers or changes to entries must be emailed to citytocasino@gmail.com by Wednesday 15 May. No transfers or changes will be possible after this date.

Refunds

Entries will not be refunded. If you wish to transfer your entry please email details to citytocasino@gmail.com by Wednesday 15 May.
